My First Trackday!
I attended a White Mountain BMWCCA track day @ NHIS this past Sunday. Dry weather and friendly folks, and a great instructor with the WMBMWCCA made it a memorable experience.
Taking turn #6 aka the bowl.

WRX wagon waving me by at the end of the main straight.

But, I need some advice.
#1 I have a 1990 EF chassis. What are my harness bar options for this 90-91 chassis?
#2 Road Course spring rates? (I saw the poll in this thread, looking for more specific info.) I currently have 450F/550R GC's with Koni SPSS Shortened shocks. And a 22mm ST rear bar and no front bar.
#3 Looking to run 13 inch wheels, Anyone tried the new Hankook Z214's? Or should I stick with the tried and true Hoosier R6's? Or neither and keep it simple with 205/50/15 RA-1's.
Thanks!

#1get a full roll bar from autopower or kirk
#2 that sounds good, leave them alone for a couple events at different tracks before you change them
#3 for de I wouldn't waste the money on hoosiers or other slick type tire, unless you can get them used very cheap and have a mount machine at your disposal.
if you start racing or doing TT the tires will get you around the course faster, but they wont make you a better driver.

What Karl said.
You'll be much better off learning on the Toyo RA-1s or something similar.
For spring rates, keep them the way they are. At this point, tuning the spring rates is now what is holding you back. But for what it's worth, my original spring rates were 400 / 600 on my Prelude which I primarily did events at NHIS, LRP, the Glen.
