Default lug nuts?

Has anyone tried these, or heard of them? (AXAS lugs) Are they any good?

Looks like a good copy of the Skunk2 lugs.
I really like that design. It makes it much easier to spin the nuts on and off by hand.

Where did you find these?

Inline four sells these... http://www.inlinefour.com/axulraclugnu.html

I've still never heard of them, but if it's JDM it's gotta be good
I was hoping they were cheaper than the Skunks... same price.

Those are the real deal. Not knockoffs. I have them on my car. They are very well made, unbelievably light, and I haven't had any problems with them galling.

Good things don't come cheap though...

Yes, they are open ended, made for extended studs.

They're better than the Skunk2 lug nuts.

The Axas lug nuts are longer, and have a more deeply knurled end so you can get them off of extended studs more easily.

I don't think they call themselves Axas any longer, though. The ones I ordered came with a name that started with "Daim...."
Thanks...

and it's Daiyama

I have the McGard spline drive nuts, the ones where the seat spins independently of the splines, so that you aren't digging into and scratching your wheel when you tighten them up.

No grease monkey's going to **** up my wheels.

I was thinking about buying these a while back and I decided against it because of the "Combat Power" under the name. I figured how many quality products use the word "combat" in their name? Anyhow, I bought the generic aluminum racing lug nuts (Pilot automotive who gets them from Taiwan) from inlinefour instead. I compared them with the old Z-Speed lug nuts (which were the ones I was looking for in the first place) and they are almost identical. There are minor differences but I would guess that they were made by the same Taiwan company.

ignorant? i dunno man, the only thing good about these are looks. you'd be fine buying a $30 set from any tire shop. not saying buying these are worthless, but im not jumping out of my seat for aluminum lugnuts. i prefer mine hardened american steel.

geratol, as for "combat power", i figure thats just a japanese thing...

If I ever lose my job I might go to Japan and work for some automotive company correcting all their "engrish".

At least their slogan isn't "Super No. 1 Best Lug Nut".

Just make sure the taper on the nut seat matches the wheel taper otherwise they will not stay torqued.

Do not use these on OEM wheels that use the rounded seat.
