Lightweight Battery?
I've also been curious about a lighter battery. I've heard of some people using motorcycle batteries, but i'm not sure they have enough power. Anyone elso know?
I need something that I can use as a daily driver battery too. I am wanting to relocate and swap to something a lot lighter than your average batteries.

There's a guy in a neon(does auto-x) that uses a small lawn tractor battery from sears(cheap and lightweight, not like those expensive batteries from dynabatt).

Sears has a lawn tractor battery with about 300 cca (I think). It's my next battery.

Can't comment on which battery to get, but relocating to the trunk is perfectly withing the rules for any SP class. You may need a batter cover, however, if it's in a hatch and not a trunk.
Will that spoon battery work for everyday use? Will I be able to mount it in the rear of my CRX too?
PS the Spoon Battery is a Gel Type
Well the problem is that I just got a Stereo system for my car yesterday for my birthday. Its nothing big just and amp and some other speakers to replace the stock ones. Its nice but I dont know how much more power it will take up. I could always use a good everyday battery everyday and when I auto-x I could change out the batteries. I am going to take the amp out when auto-xing.
Oh yeah. I was looking last night and saw some Optima Batteries. A friend of mine has one. He said they are nice. They weigh like 30 pounds though. I want something a little lighter than that.
