Default Interior for sm

Ok I know you have to have a full interior for sm but my car is also for show an I have a plexy glass for the rear seat backs. would that be ok or would I need to put the stock rear seat backs back in? thanks for any feedback

to technically be legal, you'd have to put them back in, but unless you're winning prizes and going places, i wouldn't lose any sleep over it. if anything, just tell your competitors that you know it is illegal and if they have any objections please let you know and you'll run in the appropriate class.

SM requires stock interior, EXCEPT, rear seats can be completely removed and front seats can be replaced. I don't know what the rule would be about adding a non-stock seat back. If you can remove it easily for the autox, I would do so to eliminate any chance of issues.

Cool thanks guys I must have missed that part in the rulebook. I shouldn't have anything to worry about then cause if the back seats can be removed then having something back there wouldn't make a difference then

And it's bolted down properly so it doesn't become a projectile in an accident.
