Help me find a thread...
I have searched for about an hour now....
It was a thread on racing exhaust systems. Dave Stadilus (SMSP) was talking about the ideal race setup for a 88-91 civic/crx. He outlined the tubing size and what type of muffler he was using to achieve the best results.
There was also some discussion on what brand/type of "bullet" style exhaust offered better performance and longer life.....
I want to say Dynomax vs. Magnaflow or something like that....
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks guys!

Jeremey,
I can't help you with the thread, but I can offer you another idea.
Take a look at Lobak's "Auger" style muffler. It's available in a 3-1/2 diameter casing which is great for tucking up for ground clearance, and they're supposed to be effective without costing much power.
I've got a 24 incher on order, so I can't report on it yet.
Lengths are 8 inch minimum, increments of 4 inches up to 36. Your choice of ends.
Call David at Lobak in Hayward CA at (510) 783-3712
Scott, who wants to look under the front of his kaa and see nothing hanging down...

Scott, Greg..Thanks for the help!
I appreciate it! I guess as a general rule of thumb, I shouldn't decrease the size of tubing once it exits the collector, right?
