I had a $99 bar from http://www.stableenergies.com in my Type R. Some of the bars they have for Porsches will fit Hondas and Acuras. Call and let them know the width of the b pillar and they will recommend one. I never used it for a harness, but it worked great as a camera mount. As for the safety of the harness bars with harness belts, you'll get 50 bajillion different opinions, but they are fine for autocross IMHO, but you probably shouldnt use them with harnesses for the street or track. Go the extra distance and get a 4 point rollbar.

I plan to get a cage eventually but my car is not built to the point of that yet. I just want a better mount than the current location I have, rear seat lap belt mounting point. I usually only use my harnesses on canyon runs. I talked to a NHRA licesned tech and he said he would let it pass for drag racing so I would think that they would be ok with ocassional track and auto x

if you are using your car in an unsafe manner on public roads then take your questions elsewhere. A harness in that situation will only make you more unsafe, given your increased illusion of control. /keep it on the track or autoX course.
