Default Ground Control question

On the ground control site http://www.ground-control.com/gchoncat.htm

They talk about using adapters for the Koni and Bilstein shocks right below the coilover pricing

"$10 per corner additional for billet aluminum Koni or Bilstein adapters. Please don't try to make another kit fit on Koni or Bilstein. It doesn't work."

What are these adapters for?

The Koni and Bilstein shocks I think are sized slightly differently, so they have to do something a little different with the sleeve.

I'd recommend you just call them and ask exactly what the difference is.

The perch normally provided on the Koni's is not welded in place like the Tokico's. It is held up with a C-clip that can be placed in one of three grooves machined into the shock body. The adapters they refer to iliminate the need for the Koni provided spring perch. The adapter is a billet aluminum ring that has a lip machined into it that slides perfectly over the C-clip. The threaded collar then fits snugly over the ring for a very solid fit. I highly recommend spending the money for this. It is worth it.

Thats the kinda reply I wanted to hear ,nice.

I would have called them myself but I live in Canada and if I spent all my money on long distance calls to these companies in the states I would have no money to buy goodies.
