Default Fixed back seats

I have a question maybe some of you road racers out there can answer for me. Are adjustable seats ie: JDM Recaro's allowed in SCCA club racing? Most of the events I have been to I have seen mainly Fixed back seats. The only reason I ask is that I have yet to become an SCCA member and pick up my rule book.

Thanks,
James

SCCA requires a seat back brace on ALL seats now, so I don't think it matters. FWIW, there are still plenty of people still using stock seats.

In July Fasttrack it says the new wording for the seat rule in IT is

ITCS Section 17.1.4.D.9.a p19
The driver's seat (only) shall be replaced with a one-piece bucket-type race seat. ...

Another interesting rule change for all classes
GCR Section 18.1.2 p.139
....FIA homologated seats need not have seat back back attached to roll structure if seat manufacturer recommends, within their mounting instructions, that seat back remain anattached to roll structure. Competitiors shall have manufacturer recommendation is writing. ...
