Actually, the school thing is not that difficult. NASA has a program and is set up for this very thing.
Justin finished his rookie season last year and actually won Rookie of the Year.
Don't worry about what classification your car falls into, just make sure the car has all the safety requirements and come out! Safety is the most important anyway...

We may not act like it but we all are safety freaks.NASA's HPDE ladder is great,and starting from 1 I can appreciate it. Also So Cal has The best instructors.I think the DC race school blends my TT experience with racing and helped bridge the gap.
However, there is no substitue for the real thing.As long as one is properly prepared and qualified, and not rushing out to go race,I been there done that.
The coolest thing is,you can win a championship any season,but you can only be rookie of the year once!
