I know the randd car threw a rod through the block in qualifying. I think the team has had enough troubles for the year and is going to take a break from it. RandD HC1 '04: It'll ROLL YOU!!!! lets hope

Talked with Franza two minutes ago.

Only 10 H-C cars at event. weather and (CMP)

Franza had pole at 1:52.xxx
Evans outside pole.

Franza and Evans had a serious battle....... Franza won it. 1st overall SB. Folllowed closely by JE. JE may have had engine problems developing.

Others in attendance.
Pete and Adam C. who qualified 3 and 4th. (H1 and H2)
Jason Williams H2 qualified 5th
Sam Lockwood H1 qualified 6th (I think)
No H3 cars
H4 had Jerry, Mike S. and L. Kent. (not sure the out-come)
No H5 cars

Chad didn't take the green.

Wish I could have been there!

I rolled down there in the $1k BMW to deliver trophies and make sure there were no fiascos.

- Had my car been working, I coulda won H3 due to NObody showing up in H3
- Lyonel Kent apparently walked away with H4
- Jason was on overall pole and WON overall in smallbore
- Chad trashed another motor

That's all I remember from my brief stay at CMP today.

--Karl, 370+ miles tired from a trip just to deliver trophies and see how things were going...

Mine, too. Isabel made it impossible for me.

See you guys at Summit in November, assuming we get electricity back...

I wasn't able to attend due to my desperate search for a job. Sorry, or else I would have had official results up by now...

Sundays results.

Franza won overall 2 days in a row.

Peter C. beat J. Evans in H1.

Followed by Adam C. 4th overall.

H4 L. Kent won the RRG.com Hard Charger Saturday.

Looks like most of the ECHC Championships will come down to the last weekend.
H1 (JE and JW)
H2 (Franza and Corey)
H3 (King rat and Phillips)
H4 (L. Kent and Jon Merhefka)

Should be a interesting weekend at Summit!

LOL. Trust me, he had problems. I don't have the car, and definitely not the skill to hang with that crazy fool when he and his machine are 100%.

It was a fun weekend, but we could have used more cars.

Jason-
who thinks that Summit will be a better turnout.

Amen. It was honestly the most enjoyable, least stressful weekend I've had yet in '03.

Even though my weekend ended early with completely failed brakes after the Saturday race, I agree. I was finally getting comfortable with the car and had a decent setup. Since Morgan wasn't there to do it I also covered the NOVA agricultural driving exibition in turns 8 & 14(to quote Chris C. "It wasn't my fault. I had no brakes"). Now just a complete brake rehab and I'm ready for Summit.
