Disabling the steering lock on an EF
Before I take the drill bit to the indentation in the ignition switch... is this the ticket?
It was on my Integra, but ***-u-me makes me have to potentially buy new parts.

Weren't you just telling us that you can get additional Civics for ten dollars? Drill away ;->
Seriously...I have no idea. I'd ask the sKiLLz mAstAh. Or phatty, who by now must be expert in disassembling EF Hondas...

Scott, Just be careful! I would remove everything electronic b4 i drilled if i was you! I tried the drilling route on my CRX and I landed up throwing the lock mechanism away and using a start panel bc i f'ed up the lock!
Yes you can do itsafely-with patience. My fabricator took the plastic covers off the column and got in there. The shop manual does show the part that needs to be drilled out so the pin falls out of the housing.
