At the last AutoX event I went to there were about 5 cop cars that showed up and ran the course. They had the slowest times (probably never autoXed before) but the real kicker was that they didn't slow down after the finish line and only slightly slower through the grid area. I wish I had both a camera and speeding ticket on hand.

 

Damn if I was event steward I would of dressed them down same as anyone else and add "I would think you of all people would know better!"

 

It could just be that no one explained to them that the pits/paddock/grid were slow areas.

Next time, though, someone should pull out the spike strips ! That'll teach 'em.

Well put. Me too. We have a statebull come out to our races on a regular basis. He upholds all the rules like everyone else. We like it when he brings his radar gun. Last race he brought it, the Vettes were going 110 on the back starights. I never made it past 80.
