Driving to NH (Boston) seems like the best bet. I never had the time, so no experience.

also http://www.stowe.com - check the weather before you make the drive from burlington.

I've made a drive from NYC to a SVCC (6hours) for an event and had a great time. (They were hosting the NE CRX meet a few years back). The auto-x was at a GO-Kart track... Thunder Road.. or something like that.. my mind is going due to age. It was interesting because we got to drive on a track that was banked. Making it even more interesting was the driving in the rain on a banked oval.

Up here in Motreal we have a pretty good club going. Depending were you are in Vermont, we are not that far.
We have an event this weekend on sunday the 17 at a race track near Que city. We should be almost 100 cars and it should be a ultra fast course.
An event probably closer to you will be our 3rd round of our Provincial Championship on August 31. we will be using Transport Canada's proving grounds in Blainville ,Que ( about 15 mins north of Montreal) The tarmac we will run on is 3/4 square miles. we will be using Topekas 2002 courses and it is an invitational event to the Ontario region racers. we expect the best of east coast Canada to be there.

More info http://www.cadl.qc.ca for our website and forum....yes I know it is in french but what can I do.... if it interests you just the same, email me direct at carl@tracracing.com for more info.

hope to see ya there
