FYI everyone, We've decided to make some 14x7's. 4x100 et from 35-40. Target weight is 12 lbs or under.
Basically the moulding will allow machining of offset of 35-40. 4x114.3 is no problem too. If you guys could tell us specific car fitments you like to see that will work with this rim let me know. Rim will be designed to clear Honda 10.3" front brakes. Are there any other cars with brake clearance issues we should consider?

We will probably have batchs made specific for cars (sizes with volume such as Honda's and Miata) so it is hub centric with out rings.

Tell me what you would like to see. Realistic ETA is 3 months it will here ready to ship!

7" width is the limit of IT correct?

Yes for ITA and ITS, 6" for ITB (& *I think* ITC). But 14x7 will primarily target the ITA CRX Si crowd so all that other class info is irrelevant.

Any chance on you being able to make those 100X4 and 114.3X4,. You would definatly sell a few more.

Accords and preludes use 114.3x4,. As far as I know that offset will work just fine, I have a set of 14x6 and 16x7 that have worked well on both the accord and civic.

I believe they also mean what manufacturer are you dealing with and what price point are you hoping for, so we call all start drooling now...

!4" wheels might be great but what about tire choices. I thought tire choice is quite limited in this size.

EDIT: I was wrong. 14R compound tires arent that limited.

13x7 or 13x8, 4x100, for autocrossers at around 10-12lbs and $125 or less... You build them and they will come...

Re: 14x7 being worked on!! (jsi)
I thought that I had an idea along these very lines but I was misled on the sizes available - the manufacturer that I found only went to 14x6.5" castings.

Obviously, I think it's a good idea, if appropriate price points can be met.

Re: 14x7 being worked on!! (jsi)
the lenso 13x7.5 has been used in autox and pricing is decent. exospeed's recent GB of ~$400 was a good deal. in fact i picked up a set... the thing with 13x7 or 13x8 is there are far less potential to sell them for street use. wheres the 14x7 has a much larger potential market. so i'm going after that first.

Limited? Who gives a rip when you can get the 205/14 Toyo RA1 and shave them. In other words, 14x7 is the Spec Miata size of choice, everybody makes 'em.

The 4th gen (92-96) Preludes are 114x4, but the offset should be more like +45mm to +50mm for proper fitment. +35mm definitely would not fit a 4th gen Prelude.
