Default Window Splinters

My 1990 civic hatchback came with 3 spidercracks in the windshield, they spread a decent amount. What's the best way to get rid of them? I don't want to replace the windshield if possible.

Windshield must be replaced. End of story. Especially if they are spreading.

Go to local mom+pop shops first. Had the windshield on my vintage convertible replaced for 200$, all labor and glass included. And that is a much harder to find part and is actually a structural component for my car.
