Idk if this is the right section or not, but I need to know what I can do about this. The hood was fine up untill today when I decided to polish the car, everything came out A+ except for the hood. I thought maybe the polish got stuck in all the little chips and such but nothing I tried can clean it out. I also don't think wetsanding will do much, but Idk. It now looks like this:

Is there anything I can do/use, or should I just look for a new hood?
Thanks!

those arent stone chips buddy....
what you have there is a classic reaction to the paint below from the respray. you're going to have to strip the hood and get it repainted.
and for the idiots that might trigh to chime in and say re-clearing the hood will help... NO it wont

I guess I'll just look for a new hood.
you dont need a new hood, but if you can find one of the same color as the car then why not...
it doesnt come from buffing, its a reaction from the bottom up. thats why respraying on top of it wont solve anything either, it'll only continue to react. you have to sand it till its gone, and repaint it.
