My Accord was just sideswiped, crushing a quarter panel and pushing my driver's side tire back about 2 inches (I have about 1" clearance in the wheel well behind the tire). To straighten it, I may need a new lower control arm, a new upper control arm, the frame pulled back up, the frame straightened, or a new frame altogether. Right now, the wheel axel is pushed back far enough that it rubs against the sway bar. When I try turning left, it makes a loud screeching noise. In the passenger side wheel well, the gap between the sway bar and axel is about 1 inch. I would like to pull my driver's side wheel forward at least an inch with ten feet of chain link and a come-a-long ratchet I bought. I can tie one end of the chain link to a tree, secure a hook to the undercarriage, and use the ratchet to pull the wheel forward, but where is the best place to attach the hook (the axel, a control arm, or the subassembly)? Thanks for your help. Take a look at this:
