Rubber window trim?
I have to replace the rubber window trim on the quarter glass and the rear window on my 03 civic. If I call a windshield replacement company can they replace just that? Or does the entire glass have to be replaced?
It's crazy expensive for new glass.

I'm not sure for the EM2's...I know on my Integra it's all or nothing (glass and trim). You could check by pulling up a parts diagram on one of the Honda OEM parts websites to see if they are sold separately. Even if Honda doesn't sell them separately though, there might be an aftermarket piece to replace it, but I would think the auto glass company would have to help you there.
Thank you for the suggestion. I don't see it separately on the exploded diagrams. It's going to cost so much freakin money to get it all replaced. It's like every corner I turn there's another issue. I'm going to have to check out a junk yard and see if there's anything.
^The trim around the windows has been messed up for such a long time. I little bit of primer got on them, and I just stopped caring after a while, because I thought I could get the trim replaced. But now it seems like that's not going to work. I have to check out a junk yard. And just cross my fingers I guess. If not, it's like 800 to get it all done. The front window is cracked too, so it's like all four need replacing.
I guess the upside to replacing the windows, is that I can paint it with the windows out.
There's a junk yard down the street, I have to call tomorrow and see if I can fit it into my budget. Worst case scenario, I'll have to physically paint the rubber trim, black.

Yeah, that's what I was going to say...You could use a dye and they'll look good as new. I'm going back and forth as to whether or not I'm going to dye mine since they're looking a little worn, but I would think that would be a good (read:inexpensive) solution.
However, like you said, painting with the windows out would be a big plus. Maybe you can get lucky with the salvage yard, or find someone parting out a car that would sell them for cheap.

If your glass is still good, you can just take out the quarter windows, puts the new trim on and put your window back on. You don't need to replace the glass with a new one.
There is a cost for the removal though. I think I may have paid $60-70 to remove the a pair of rear windows for my EG when it was painted. Not really cheap...but its an option.

Thanks for everyones responses
Well the junk yard didn't help at all they don't have the glass in their warehouse. However, I have been searching for quarter glass on the net and I found one on ebay for like 75 bucks, which is like 50 percent off. I'll have to keep looking, then maybe just get the local glass installer to install em.
I kept looking, I might go ebay, i've been finding good deals.
