Default Primer Questions

im trying to primer my new front bumper. but i am not sure i know what im doing lol. i was told to get 400grit sand paper and just sand it then paint it. so i got the sand paper. but i had a question b4 i start.
1) the pumper was orginaly red and then was primered black over it. and its chiping. b4 i sand it do i just sand the black and paint it or chip it off, sand the red and paint it. than

bring it to me ill do it cheap LOL. Sand black off. Mask. Primer with a flexing primer. sand smooth

make sure you get anything chipping off, or just sand all of it off (better idea), otherwise you'll just be practicing for the next time

400 grit wooww youll be there all day have fun with it its experience if u dont like it u can always do it over again

yea, you gotta do it a couple times before getting the hang of it. but sand off all teh chipping parts of you will have to sand down everything next time. and you dont have to sand the red off if it's not chipping.
