so i have a 93 del sol its currently black but it has alittle surface rust i plan on fixing the patches of rust but i dont know if im diggin the black anymore ive been asking around locally for prices on how much to paint it after all the body work is done and i cant find a decent deal, could anyone help me out on whats a decent price for a good paint job

 

If you do the prep I would say a around a grand. (Not including the jams)
Using a good quality paint isn't cheap.

 

Usually 3-4k is minimum of what you should expect for a quality job including prep.

 

id like the jams done too but ill prep it but thanks for the info some of the places i went to were def trying to screw me over

 

Well, I mean for jambs and everything, it's not unusual to see prices up to 10k. Around me, I had a shop give me a quote of 3-4k after I prepped it and disassembled it. That included me reassembling it, and also them giving me a pretty hefty discount.
