help with wash and wax
hey guys i recently had my 99 prelude repainted in the orginial peral white. my question is wut kind of wash and wax is good to use. i see so many at the store and i do not know which one is best for my car. I hear meguiars's gold wash is great but i would like to know what other people have used. Also i hear mothers wax is very good, but again i dont know which one to choose from.
How long has it been? I think you aren't supposed to wax a fresh paint job for a bit. As far as the wax, I was told that the stuff you see at your generic retail place is usually just mid quality nothing great. Someone had recommended some that I think stared with a Z to be before that you could get online that all the reviews were great. I'll try and dig it up.
do not wax the car for about 60 days, let it cure. for wash, i use duragloss 902, very very slick and cheap and you can find it otc.
for wax, it all depends how much money you want to spend, haha. poorboys world usually has some nice carnuba pastes for a very reasonable price, but if you have money to burn, get pinnacle or fuzion wax.
