Hi all. I was recently involved in an accident and was wondering if the damage was severe enough to have the car be considered a total loss from the insurance's POV. car is a very clean gsr with very little rust for its age. aside from the cosmetic damage i believe there may be some bent suspension components in the rear, experienced some intermittent vibrations while driving. door is very misaligned and barely closes properly. the side skirt was also ripped off. kbb values the car at 2.5k with 177k miles. what do you guys think will end up happening? recently the car has had a lot of maintenance and upgrades that can be removed replaced back with old oem parts. if the insurance is just going to give me the cars value and scrap it id like to at least get my money back on those parts.
