I don't know anything about paint guns and am looking for something decent/cheap. Does that gun look ok? Thanks

depends on what your gonna do with it, but for 50bux you can find decent gravity fed gun that you can actually know the specs on and wether your compressor can handle it or not
Yeah i shouldve just searched first. After searching for the last hour, I'm realizing the importance of matching the gun to my compressor's cfm rating. I'll just buy a new entry-level setup.
I was looking at this one...

I'm only buying a 30 gallon compressor that does 8.5 cfm @ 40 psi for now. The gun in the link only requires 4 cfm. It seems to me that those would be decent for the occasional paint project. I can always upgrade later but I'd rather not go nuts with a compressor til I own a house.

dont feel bad man way back in the day i learned the same thing i got some cheap guns to practice with but they took atleast 15cfm to run which if you look around you gotta have a pretty kick *** compressor to do that, the one i had only did about 8cfm and i had to take the water/air seperator off just for it to be able to spit out some paint, i also have a couple of eastwood guns they are pretty nice for the diy and they make a few that have pretty low cfm requirements
