it all depends on how deep the scratch is. it may be able to be buffed out. I would not recomment puting touch up paint on it, especially since its a new car. see if a local detailer can buff it out 1st. and if it is too deep, then I suppose you can try to apply touch up paint, but then I would wetsand it so it is completely smooth and then polish it.
edit: I would have a detailer do either of those things since you probably dont want to learn how to wetsand on a new car.
however, you said it isnt deep so it will probablt buff out.

thanks e-rok for the reply. as for this scratch...it is too deep to be buffed out, i've already looked into that...i will definitely look into the other option though.
any other ideas?

you have already had someone look at it? furthermore, was this "Detailer" someone who knew what they were doing? do you have any pics of this scratch?
now you say it is on your bumper, but there is no metal showing? Bumpers are plastic. Assuming it is on your bumper, I would be a little less worried about wetsanding it since bumpers can be replaced or repainted easily.

yea...the guy is pretty legit. he works for a company that details ferraris, bentleys and stuff although i do not know if he specifically works on them.
by no metal showing, i meant that the paint didnt come off...its just a really deep scratch. sorry i cant find a camera angle that will show this scratch off.
i might just go ahead and get it painted or buy a new one

I would just leave it as you will probably get another scratch on it eventually
