burnt threw the clear coat
In that second picture, if those little white lines are primer or exposed paint, then you need to repaint and reclear. You can do that one of two ways, feather in a spot repair and clear the whole panel, (which in this case would just be the bottom half of the door.) or you can prep the whole panel, and just re paint the whole thing. Some people choose to do the second option, because they feel like they can't blend it good. (It takes some practice.) given the circumstances, it'll probably be easier/look better in the long run if you just re paint the whole section, if you have the paint, and it is from the same can the original paint was sprayed from.
If the picture is deceiving, and you burnt through the clear, and didn't sand away all the paint, you MIGHT be able to get away with just prepping with a maroon pad and re clearing the whole thing. I would have to see it really up close to tell.

your better off resprayin the whole aperture, which would include the quarter panel bc there is no breaking point between the two, i would sand the entire areas with 800 grit. prep accordingly, spray the area where you broke thru and clear everything for best quality. now you can also just blend the area but as stated before can be difficult if you have little experience, im for one am never good with using blend solvents so i prefer to do the whole 10 yards, judging by the door you might as well do all three panels at once
