I think when an engine bay is done right, it's really damn nice...because it's a lot of hard work.

 

PPL on here really **** me off sometimes. I know this isnt a Mitsubishi forum and I dont go aroung bragging about my car lol. That guy is a tool, I really want to see his POS.

 

great thread. im really into this look, i love painted bays. Im kind of stuck on what color would flow better with my car so please give me as much feed back as possible. I have an eg hatch and im painting it a very pale light yellow. Im stuck on whether i should paint the bay a slate blueish gray, or should i paint it a nice raspberry burgundy. Negative/positive feedback is fine. i appreciate the help

curious as to what that cable is thats running on the front side of your valve cover? Looks like it goes into some kind of chromed bracket on the front of the head near the turbo.

 

that's a T1 cam trigger

 

I think the fad of painting the bay a crazy color or different color than the car will be dying out in the next year. IMO...paint it the same color as the rest of the car.

 

^ yea different color engine bays IMO look like **** to me, just seems like the car inst done..

 

Thats cool, If everyone thinks its a fad just like everything else and they change it back thats them. I like it personally and im gonna paint my bay, Im not trying to follow a fad around but i saw it one a purple hatch with work wheels and i thought it looked really sick. Im still gonna rock it even if ppl dont do it.
