Where'd you source the swap from? How much? Do you know of any websites that have more information on the swap?

 

I bought it from a BMW junkyard in Indiana from a swapped e36. 2500 for the entire swap, because I went and picked it up.

Old school hotness. Any reliability issues on these older BMWs? My buddy bought a 2008 335i at the start of summer and it's been in the shop 3 times already. Had to have both turbos replaced last time.

 

No other than the normal maintainence. OBD-1 BMWs are as easy to work on as Hondas

I don't think so.

EDIT: apparently, the M52 was available in europe with an aluminum block, though the S (m version) was not.

 

Nice car, Where did you get the headlights? Did you take them apart and paint them? I'm having a hard time finding a simmilar set to yours.

 

DJ Autos, and I took the lights apart and laminX them.
