Hey, looked through the Other Make Vehicles forum, and to my surprise nothing on the Ford Focus really. I hope there's no major reason for that.

I've been looking at a few SVT's, wanted to see some pics of ones you like, and I'd like to hear your opinions on the car itself. I'm just looking for a daily, light mods/bolt-ons, good idea? Bad idea?

I wish we had the RS in the states. Why does Europe get the the good Fords.....

 

Ive seen videos of that bad boy looks sick and fast as hell.I thought i read some where that we where getting it in 2011. i might be trippin i know they are trying to push the fiesta and i think there is a turbo one to.

 

-the focus "RS500" is eligible for importation into the USA, as only 499 total were built in both LHD/RHD. the "RS" focus is not and will not be sold here, ever.

 

I heard something or other about them making a universal Focus platform, so it'll be the same everywhere, and I'm pretty sure I heard that Ford of Europe gets to build it, so maybe the US will see the better Focus?

Just what I heard, don't know if it's true. I haven't really done any research, because I'm not willing to spend the money to buy a brand-new car.

That RS500 is sincerely bad ***. I want one.

If I were to get it, I would get the Ford Racing rally wheels, like the one in that pic, but dark.

 

I used to see a silver SVT around Pasadena that had all the Euro bumpers and wheels. That car was sick. Such a good platform, and they're dirt cheap. I've been playing with the idea, too

 

Yea i would love to get one.Only thing there slower then a ls integra.

 

I'd consider a SVT Focus but 4x108 bolt pattern. ugh.

My girlfriend has a 2008 base model coupe focus and to my suprise it was actually alot quicker than i thought it would be. Only draw back is how hideous they are imo.

 

not my favorite car in the world but i think i would sport one.

I love my SVT! Nice to see this thread was waiting for everyone to start bashing them LOL

 

Use to have a Contour SVT, loved the car. I remember taking the rear exhausts off and having straight pipes welded on, sounded amazing.

 

any one know any more specs on the silver svt with cobra r's i know they make various sizes of them just wondering which ones they used and tire sizes......thanks
