WA FS: 1988 Honda Civic LX Potential donor/parts car $350
Selling my Civic because although it runs and drives, it dies on idle when hot. I've invested a good amount of new parts on the car which are still in basically new condition but am tired of working on it and want to move on. Car specs: VIN - 1HGED365XJA024642 Miles - 287000 Automatic Transmission
-Four Brand New Tires and a good condition used spare ($320+) -New Distributor ($100) -New IAC Valve ($210) -New Battery ($110) -Two New Fuel Injectors ($120) -New Main Relay ($40) -New Thermostat ($10) -New Drum brake shoes, assembly, and wheel cylinders ($20) -New Spark Plugs and Plug Wires ($30) -New O2 Sensor ($20)
Cons: -Car won't idle when hot (as mentioned previously) -Driver door doesn't latch -Windshield is cracked -Trunk latch is finicky and won't shut currently -Exhaust leak in resonator -Radio and power windows don't work but that's probably because the driver door which holds the main relay switch for those is missing wiring -AC doesn't work but could be an easy fix
