Paying insurance, tags, smog, and the cost to garage it doesn't make sense for me anymore. I've got a family and it's time to part with this fine machine. The Civic is currently garaged and covered. A ton of work as gone into this build.
A quick summary of its current condition, and things not in the above post: California CARB Legal & BAR'd Good tires 95% Good alignment New brakes Fresh fluids oil/transmission/radiator, Polished paint looks nice in the pics but it's not perfect up close (a few scratches, a ding here and there, 3 bird poop spots, clear coat is cracked in a few spots) LS 5th gear was installed and transmission was fully rebuilt 6k miles ago New wheel bearings all around No leaks No smoke on VTEC AP1 S2000 steering wheel Integra seats LS Integra rear brakes Viper alarm Custom immobilizer - tow truck required without it Sound deadening removed Resealed windshield Tuned OBD1 ECU for track, and OBD2 P73 Stock ECU for Smog Swapped the suspension springs out for 340 front 250 rear to soften it up (used to be 500/450)
Bad stuff: A/C is removed Battery is about 5 years old and not as strong as I'd like it to be Rims are curbed in some spots Oil pan kissed road debris is scratched/dented Exhaust manifold runners have bottomed out on the cement a few times No sound system Fog lights are disconnected and one fog light lens is cracked - they were crap egay replacements for the nice ones that also were cracked by road debris
