on river road make a left or right on annet avenue once on annet ave merge to your left and stay on henry hudson drive your gonna have to past underneath the george washington bridge,right after you pass the bridge your going to encounter a rotunda go straight and youll see the park at the bottom

So seeing that at every meet i attend i see a total of 3 to 4 honda del sol's i was thinking of showing b20 members,solsociety,honda-tech and teamsolcal.com that eg1's & eg2's still roam the streets so i basically came up with this idea of organizing a delSol meet located at the fort lee historic park right next to the hudson river..If anyone has ever gone to this location you already know that it has it benefits

1.ample parking spaces
2.bbq grills are supplied in the park+tables
3.great location to take pictures
4.restrooms and vending machines are a few steps away from grills even though i and other attendents will be bringing food+beverages
5.If your from nyc all you have to do is cross over the bridge location is no less than 5 minutes away
6.playgrounds for the kids i know we drive two seaters but hey u never know!

SIDE NOTE PLEASE IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON COMING AS IS REQUESTED IN ALMOST ALL MEETS PLEASE LEAVE THE RICE BOY ACTS AT HOME OR ELSE DONT BOTHER COMING SO THIS BASICALLY MEANS NO REV'ING,NO LOUD BOOMBLASTIC MUSIC(THIS IS A FAMILY ZONE) AND PLEASEEE NO BURNING OUT!!!!

Ya its an even bigger haul for me and would be the longest trip I've taken so far but worth it if there is a big enough turnout. I mean its a lot closer that vegas where they have the only other del sol only meet i know of. Be nice to have one on the east coast Maybe even start a tradition if it goes well

Think its already hard enough to just get del sols together, let alone only eg2 vtec models haha. Guess u could change your vin tags and chassis plates to fake it. Reminds me of the movie gattaca which i just watched lol

It is a trip but think about the good time you'll have at the meet and new people you'll be meeting plus u won't regret the bbq! I think we should have a long distance award like they do for the vegas meet

 

There solers in maine, im pretty sure theres a orange sol up there with a black hood and black housing headlights.. If anything, you can meet us solers from connecticut in Waterbury, So far i have a count of 5 solers in CT coming...

Whew....that's a hike for me. If the turnout approached the vegas stuff I'd have to go, but that's a haul for my car for sure. Wish I could trailer to Jersey then drive in.

 

Just got off the phone with the city of fortlee and they informed me that we don't need a permit to have a this meet but they did say for anyone attending to get there early because 1. The meet falls on the 21st which is fathers day and 2. The park is very popular with families and people who like to bbq so please if u plan on coming leave ur house early last thing I want is for people to take the long haul to the meet,arrive and not find any parking
