You still need to take apart the headlight...

what makes it different from a retro?

i think this is a retro fit conversion kit.

Re: New Product!! Xenonworx D2S HID BI-Xenon Projector (chickenwing)

This is a retro fit conversion, Unlike usually retro's the projector slides through your existing hole cut out for your Halogen Bulb. Then attaches by a retaining nut in the back.

ooo... looked like a clamping system...

so the big question is price...

is it worth getting your kit, over using oem components?

Re: New Product!! Xenonworx D2S HID BI-Xenon Projector (bpr0422)

We are still developing the Projectors. I need some input from everyone, Let me know what you all think.

Pricing has not yet been determined, It is going to be very competitively priced.

Re: New Product!! Xenonworx D2S HID BI-Xenon Projector (DrivenMC)

cutoff could be more colorful...

sortof like the tsx color mod...

also how wide is the beam???

cause it looks like there is a slight hotspot at the center...

Re: New Product!! Xenonworx D2S HID BI-Xenon Projector (DrivenMC)

does it have to come with the halo ring?

also is the halo ring led or ccfl?

chawski 06-01-2008 10:45 PM

so what is the upside to this over oe? just that you can use a conversion kit bulb in it?

i think the upside it is a projector that can do both hi and low beam in one unit.

if you notice that all cars that come equipped with hid have a separate lamp for high beams.

Re: New Product!! Xenonworx D2S HID BI-Xenon Projector (bpr0422)

It can be taken off, CCFL

DrivenMC 06-02-2008 04:43 AM

Re: (chawski)

Some new vehicle's come with BI-Xenon projectors, The OEM Version is difficult to install as a Conversion. We Are simplifying the system, So that more people can perform Conversions. The projector houses a D-Series bulb, Overall You can purchase all the parts needed from Xenonworx. Ballasts, Bulbs, Projectors, controllers and wiring harnesses.

I will post pictures with the internal components.

Re: (DrivenMC)

if you can do a A/B comparison between well known projectors, it's going to sell alot faster....it looks like you mount this from inside and put a nut on the outside...

DrivenMC 06-02-2008 05:22 AM

Re: (devani)

Great Idea, I will work on a comparative analysis once the product is finished. Very correct on the mounting.

bmoua 06-03-2008 12:09 AM

if the price is right and fitment is good, i'd def consider picking this up.

denshu 06-03-2008 06:31 AM

Re: (bmoua)

I think you need a better picture of the light spread in a darker place.
To me the beam seems a bit dim and i can really notice the hotspot in the middle.
But if price is right, anythign is better then plug and play.
You should compare these to E46 single xenon or Tsx since those are the best bang for the buck OEM projectors.

Will Do. Thanks for the input.

Any pics of this installed in the headlight. This is a great idea and depending on price might be interested in some.

Re:

I would liketo see these in some headlights as well. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

chawski 06-03-2008 03:51 PM

so how do these mount? from the looks of it you would need to fab a bracket for them?

DrivenMC 06-03-2008 04:15 PM

Re: (chawski)

I just left Mooresville This Morning, Anyways you Mount the Projector by a Retaining Nut on the Base. No Brackets Needed
