Emissions testing in chicagoland
I'm going to be purchasing a EG with a h22 swap from Michigan, and I'm curious if anyone from the Chicago area could tell me if an emissions test is required? I've heard that 95 and older cars no longer require a smog check, is that true because i have also read that only applies if your car was compliant before that law was passed? Also if required to have a smog check do they also have a visual check?Any help would be appreciated.Thanks
