As a native to Spring"Battle"Field, Ohio, my dad has been involved with motorsports for decades and worked the open-wheeled pits in his college years. I grew up around cars and caught the bug. Only recently have I begun to construct my first project car, a 2000 Honda Civic EX that I bought in 2003. Its a daily driver, which is what I think a show car should be. If you can't show it off on the streets, whats the point, right? Currently, I'm trying to drop as much weight from the EX as possible. In doing this I want to increase the asthetic appeal of the car while preparing it for the track - after a future motor swap. As of March 2006 I've added a VIS Invader carbon fiber hood and F1 Style carbon fiber fenders. I also dropped the spare and the front bumper stiffeners.
