I have a 2003 Accord LX-V6 sedan. I'm looking to install LED's under the dash (blue), and would like my dome light to match. I was looking for replacement bulbs for it and this is what I found. I'm just wondering if it would work for me?

Should work, but I would be more inclined to go for one of the rectangular boards like on this page http://www.eautoworks.com/search-ALL/fo7-ca1178.htm which should emit a more even light throughout the interior. But then I prefer the pure "hyper-white" look over blue. I think blue will make things hard to see inside the car at night.

 

Thanks for the input. I would go with the white but I never use the dome light anyways. If I need something at night I just flip on the lights near the windshield, and I'm planning on keeping those white still.

As far as installing the new light, I should just be able to pry open the dome and pull the existing bulb out and put the new one on, I don't have to rewire anything, correct?

I have the replacement dome light bulb on the way, and im getting under dash blue led's put in on wednesday. Windows are getting tinted over the weekend, and after that, im going to work on getting rims and then fogs. Its time to get this project rolling!
