Philips HID kit install help
Bought a 9006 4300k Philips kit off ebay. Paid 150, seemed like a good deal. I had an older 9006 6000k Hid kit of another brand installed, the wires were getting shorted out, so I decided replacing the whole thing just made sense. The setup is identical: place the factory connector in the socket next to the headlight, then all the other wires hook up with male/female connectors. There doesnt really seem to be any way to screw that up. Neither ballast works with either headlight. Am I missing something here, do I need a relay for a higher quality kit or what...im thinking I got bunk equipment, but Im no expert. Any advice is appreciated.
I searched the forums for an answer and didnt see one, so if theres a similar post, please dont start flaming me....my bad...

phillips doesnt make a 9006 kit.. they only make oem d1,d2,d3, d4 stuff.. anything else is just knock offs.. sounds like you have some bad ballasts.. if you really want good output then go with a retrofit..
Did some research, did get knock-offs....price is always too good to be true. Found out that the connector for the headlight input from the original honda wiring is backwards...flipped it, and it works. Light output is surprisingly good, just need to aim the headlights a little. They even have a clean cut-off at the top of the pattern. Thank you.
