My fog light bulb just went out shortly after 3 weeks of use. Only one side came out. I'm pretty sure it's the bulb because I tried another bulb in the same connection and it turned on perfectly.

Nothing inside the bulb is cracked or nothing is loose when I shake it. Looks just as good as the working bulb I took out of the other fog light. What could be wrong with it? It's too soon for it to go out, i only use it an hour a night, 3-4 days a week...

Did you touch that bulb with your bare hands?

 

never. always used latex glove.

 

if you got egay foglights, get a new bulbs if you don't want to deal with outages
