Default Kydo 9005 HID

Just received these bulbs for my 98 2.3 Accord. While taking out my OEM bulbs, I noticed that they have a single notch on the inside of the plug housing--I assume this is there to allign the prongs with the mating holes.

My problem is that these bulbs I just got have TWO little notches inside the housing, causing the plug & socket to not make full contact. If anyone knows what I can do make these work without returning them, let me know.

9005 are high beam lights and im almost positive that you need 9006 for low beams which have the double notch...!!!

I absolutely agree, 9005 is the dominant high beam bulb type when pairs with 9006. As a fix, you could order a pair of 9006 bulbs only, they always come with the rubber gromet, and adaptor to connect your ballast to the old socket..... the correct socket, not the high beam one.

If you need them I can sell you a pair with the adaptor included, pm me for details.
