hid problems

Default hid problems

So i have an 03 acura tl and i bought 8 k bulbs hoping to get a little hint of blue but it looked like 6k. Then i bought a ddm tuning kit(35w 8k) yet it still doesnt look like 8k my friends 6k look bluer then mine(ddm tuning too). Does anyone know why?

Could be the sellers products. I dont think the ballast makes a difference in the color really.

Only difference would be the bulb. You could have gotten the wrong bulbs. I would contact the seller to rectify the problem.

Everytime i see hid kits for the most part the colors are different, some market 6000ks as diamond blue, or diamond white. MY friends 6000ks are a lot bluer then my old ones, (bought from operatic). he got his from ebay. If you really want blue look at 10,000k. However i reecomend you stick with no more then 6000k, when going to 8000k plus you loose light output and just gain color.
