Default help with amber dash lights

hello i am changing my dash lights to amber, i know there are a few threads on this already but havn't found what i've been really looking for, i've used the testors competition orange, but it doesn't ever turn out how i want it, its more red then anything, i just wanna know what other methods people are using to do this without having to order special type of paint or sleeves from honda, although it may be the best bet, but i'm really just wanting to get what i need locally, please let know Thanks

For my '98 Civic I used a manual CRV cluster, an Si/Prelude radio (hybrid since mine broke and I had a decent one that was close, but not exactly the same) and then used bulbs from Autolumination.com for the climate control, emergency flashers button and defrost button.
