Default Headlight Problems

I tried to install the LMC headlight harness that uses power from the battery to power the headlights and just uses the switch to turn them on. So basically it plugs into the headlight plug on one side then it splits it off to each side to plug into the bulb. You then ground each side and connect 2 wires to the battery. You also have 2 relays in the system. Anyway I'm having issues and don't want to type them up again so here is the link to the thread on another forum.

I mention the issues there. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Default Re: Headlight Problems (hometheaterman)

1. it's not worth it
2. if it doesnt last for more than 3 months, I'll be impressed
3. Probably has a cheap design with two relay utilizing one fuse and male socket.
4. Relays go bad on those cheapo harnesses
5. It is good if it's done right, if not(suppose the relays go out), you will be driving with no lights at all as both are affected by a single socket from your stock harness.
6. Why buy a high wattage bulb when all it does it pretty much throw light upwards burn the bulb quicker?
