ok, so im cheap, i work in a body shop and iv finaly got a set of projectors after saving multiple unmathching sets. they are from a gmc acadia, and they use h7 bulbs. so i have to buy a h7 hid kit and i need some kind of adaptor to run my h4 harness on my civic to hook up to the h7 hid kit.
i was told i need a rebased connector adabtor or something but im not sure if this is right. what do i need to run these projectors in my car with an h7 hid kit?

H7 projectors can use a regular D2S bulb with the addition of a simple aluminum ring that slips over the base of the D2S bulb. We used this in my buddy's Audi A4 with Valeo H7 projectors with very good results. I don't know how Acadia projectors will take to D2S w/ H7 adapters, though. I'm not sure what projectors they use.
The main issue, though, is that you will lose high beam function on your Civic headlights. If you have to go through inspection, they will not pass you without high beams. Also it's very unsafe when driving along dark back roads at night to not have high beams. Even though you might have HID and projector headlights, you still need high beams, especially when the projector provides a sharp cutoff.

thanks for the info. who sells these adaptors?
im getting another set of head lights to do this so im not worried about passing inspection(saftey) since i can just swap them over. im also not concered about the high beams since i live in the city and rarely drive down back roads, also rarely use my high beams at all. im doing this on a small budget since i dont really want to spend alot of money on this project, most of the money is for the hid kit.
i read up on this adaptor a little and im not sure if it would work on these projectors. the h7 bulbs kinda just clip into the prjector and doesnt have anything holding it in besides to small clips on each side. if you dont understand i can take a picture

If there are little wire retaining clips on that projector to hold the H7 bulb in place, then it will work with those adapter rings. I can't really tell from that pic how those bulbs are held in place.
You can get the rings from HIDPlanet: http://www.hidplanet.com/H72D2.html However they only mention using them with Valeo projectors. Not sure if they would work on other H7 projectors or not.
As you can see here, not all H7 projectors take kindly to D2S + adapters:
