Default Fog wiring

I recently bought a oem fog kit off of ebay. Not sure how oem it is but I had a question reguarding wiring. The electrical diagram shows that fog system runs off the red/white wire that powers the headlights and is connected to a switch that would deactivate any power to fogs if high beams went on. the output wire to the fogs themselves though is blue/red, which I found in the engine bay. It is bundled with the head light wires so I figured it must be it. I get no cuurent from that socket. If I go ahead and connect the poer to the fogs from the accesories, the button will always be on, I wish to avoid this. Does the fuse that says "RR Fog"(7.5Amp) have anything to do with the system as I have removed it a while back? Any suggestions? I can wire this easily, I just want it to be wired like it is from the factory. I also found a perfect connecter to the fog switch behind the dimmer. Could this be the fog connecter, it has pink and orange wires.

i would suggest that you wire it your own way. Ebay instructions are a bit "upside down" when it comes to specific things. If you know how to run a switch to a 12v constant/fogs lights.. then go ahead and do that.

i own a rsx and i just connected my fog lights to my city lights with an optional switch..

good luck

tHANKS, but no luck neccesary, I've wired up fog kits before and I am studying to be an Electrical Engineer. In fact I got half of the work done in an hour, just waiting on the new bumper to come out of the paint shop. I some how got the fog swithch in the dimmer spot and the power from the fuse box in the interior, wired out the fire wall on the passenger side.

So you're powering the fogs off of the running lights? Nice, I hope it is fused and relayed off the spice. At first I blew a few switches because I neglected to believe a relay was necessary. The swithes were only a cent each. (AutoZone)
