so today i was at the junkyard and i grabbed some brights to the the converstionon my civic ( run brights in low beam socket) shaved them down to fit and slapped one in and it didnt work....so i tryed them in the brights socket and they work fine.....any idea why they wont work in the low beam socket??

all this is on a 1991 civic hatch std model if it matters

are you sure the connector is in correctly so the pins are touching? that might be your problem..

 

yeah they were not getting in all the way so i did some more shaveing and checking now they work thanks g
