I've seen a lot of people with blue head lights around town and recently purple ones. Does anyone know where to find these? I've tried the brand cool blue as well as a couple other brands that say they are blue and they hardly had a blue tint at all. I know lights can look different colors depending on the temp but I'm pretty sure these are painted or something. If anyone knows where to get these please let me know. Thanks for your time!

P.S.S. Colored light bulbs put out dramatically less usable light than white light/sunlight.

 

Must be talking about the h.i.d kits. Probablyy doesnt know about them hence trying out the bulbs that lie about the color outputs that he wants.

 

Yes I know what h.i.d. kit are, but I have been told by more than one person that you can get color from just the bulb and it is much cheaper. I'm not an expert on the topic by any means though, hence me asking the question in the first place. Yes I do know that they aren't legal and you can't see crap with them (at least that's what everyone says) I probably won't be using them for everyday use.

 

the more blue/purple you go, you lose output.. meaing it wont be as bright as your stock halogens.. your eyes dont adjust well to the blue/purple either..
