Civic EK projectors
Anyone know how they are made, and which projectors are used?
And I've seen these a few times on facelifts EK's but never on pre facelifts. Is it possible to fit those things in the EK 96-98 headlights?

Its not too hard. I put TSX HIDs in my 96. Easiest way is to bake your headlights(or use a heat gun) to remove the lenses, then drill a ~3" hole in the back of the reflector bucket and the headlight housing. Install the headlight housing and reflector without the lens on the car and wire up the hids, and use two part epoxy to glue them into the reflector. This way you can get the rotation right before the epoxy dries. make some type of support for the projector to prevent it from breaking out of the housing, epoxy a shroud over it then bake it back together.
I got mine super cheap from a good friend. But Ive seen them on Ebay for $150 and from places like The Retrofit Source for a little more. Youll also need ballasts/igniters which will be another $150 from a store. Wire harness is about $30 from Retrofit source and shrouds, basically whatever fits and you like. Youll prob need to trim the bottom of the shroud a little to fit, but you can epoxy that to the bottom of the reflector for more support. So its fairly expensive, and the result is only as good as the work you do to make them fit. Also D2S bulbs are about $80/pair. But the benefits are excellent light output, and the bulbs last about 5 years.
