Brighter interior (gauge) lights?
I've noticed that Honda did something with their gauge clusters starting in 200x to make them brighter.
Was it simply a new bulb? Or is there more to it than just a bulb?
My question basically stems from my desire to make the gauges on my DA a little easier to see at night.
TIA.

I removed all of the incandesant bulbs and in my first one I put in 194 revers dome LED's, now I do SMT leds in them...either way it is a crisper light, and with the new high power SMT's it is brighter than stock.
I did led flex strips from oznium.com on my 96's cluster, I did them similar to addiction2bass (his pics):

^showing the flex strips installed
This set up is a bit perminent (have to cut and trim the light shields in the white bezel) but they are DRAMATICALLY brighter to the point of when full dimm they are just a bit dimmer than full bright of oe gauge lights...
