I have a 2003 RSX-S. When i try to start it just turns over and will sputter for a second and try to start but quickly die. The wierd thing is if i disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail it actually starts and runs like normal for a while until the fuel runs out of the system. An ideas what may cause this. The car was sitting for about 4 months prior to being started. It was occasionally started and ran for a bit during that time. The last month it wasnt started any, and now has this problem

 

Bad gas perhaps?

 

Sounds like there might be a tiny clog in the fuel line
