Default Oil consumption

Ok in my 06 si I change the oil at about 30% oil life. Every time I change the oil it's missing some. Can check the stick and it's pretty low. Like at the bottom of the stick. Barely on it. Pretty certain it has to be the valve seals. About 160k mileage. I hit vtec occasionally. Not crazy with it though. Just looking for someone else's input on this. I mean it could be the rings but I doubt that... Unless the prev owner rarely changed the oil... It has to burn a little but I don't ever see any smoke. Has to be getting caught. I need to do a leak down test but if someone can tell me with certainty that it's the valve seals I'll just change the valve seals.

I had an 06 si with 148k miles and it also used a bit of oil between oil changes, so did my 04 Tsx. Could be stuck oil rings or valve seals. Mine didnt smoke or anything so I just topped off between oil changes. If it doesnt becomes excessive I wouldnt worry about it.
Most engines consume oil.

the only way I could see the rings having a problem is if it wasn't broke in right... Or an oil change every 20k miles lol but I shouldn't worry unless it gets excessive?

MY tsx was ran on synthetic oil since 60k miles as per what the previous owner told me. When I got it, it had 172k. It would use about a quart between oil changes, 5k miles intervals.
If you start to see smoke or that it consumes more than a quart of oil, then I would look into it.
