Is there a difference in deck height across the k24 series of engines? for instance a1 to a4 or a2 to a8. Ive gathered that the compression is different via different pistons. but could I take an a2 rotating assembly and put it into an a3,a4,a8..etc?

Don't believe so. Only between K20 and K24.
